What Stem Angles did Salsa Make for their Chromo Stems?

The one I have appears to be 25 degrees, but I'm not 100%

Just wondering if they only made a few degree variations as it would make identifying mine a little easier.

Looks like 25*, but that is not an old stem.

Agree with Shiggy. That's an SUL model (Stiff Upper Lip) which was introduced and sold in the 2000s. It was made after Ross sold Salsa to QBP.

Back-in-the-day of quill stems Salsa made dozens of sizes plus custom. Used the more useful reach/rise dimensions rather than reach/angle. I had two custom stems made for dropbars (1st for Cinelli bars, 2nd for Specialized dirt drops), reach 100mm / rise 150mm. Later became a stock size.

Thanks (as always). I'm trying to determine if it is 25.4 or 25.8. The attached pic is with a 25.4 bar, the top bolt snugged down (SUL engaged), and the bottom bolt snugged, but not torqued to riding spec.

    There is no 25.8 clamp.

Oh, my mistake. I had seen one for sale described as having a 25.8 clamp. I must have the 25.4 then I assume?

There is a 26.0mm clamp for use on road bike bars (25.8 and 26.0 models).

If the clamp is holding a mountain bar tightly it's a 25.4 mm. Try and install a road bar and it should not fit.

If however the mountain bar is not secure, it's a 26.0 mm stem.

The bar clamp size is also stamped inside the faceplate on all the Salsa Cromoto stems I have.

I was hoping to find it on the faceplate (I checked before asking here), but surprisingly it is not stamped.
