    Are these tires worth saving?

The Schwinn KOM I bought at a yard sale last weekend came with the original Specialized Ground Control tires. Tread is adequate, but they're pretty much unusable due to cracking and sidewall rottage. What's interesting, though, is that they have a "Schwinn Project KOM" logo on the sidewall. I was about to toss them out with the trash last week, but thought maybe they might be valuable or something. Not sure who would find them valuable...maybe a museum?

Anyway, I put it to this forum to answer the question: Trash 'em or stash 'em?

I actually thought I posted this already, but can't find it in the forum. So, apologies if this is redundant.

if they say Schwinn on the sidewalls they shouldn't be Ground Controls. Schwinn had their own tires.

Even if they are the real thing, if they're cracked and crusty just toss em.
