    Syncros crankset - Need to repaint...

    I have a Syncros crankset... Overall in great shape but the arms need repainting. Any tips on what to use?

    I've used wet paint for one pair and bead blasted/lacquered another pair. Makes an interesting color almost like Ti. I wouldn't recommend powder coating as that involves heat and there is a reasonable chance it will affect the adhesives that the cranks appear to use. See this thread for more.

    Thanks. Will likely go down the wet paint route as I want to keep them looking original. Read that secret life thread earlier... Interesting!

    Beautiful, but be careful, I have seen them break under normal riding conditions.
