    Steel rim question?

Who made 36 hole steel rims back in the day? What would I pay today for a set?

How "back in the day" are you looking? Most 26" wheeled cruisers came with steel rims from the 1930s until the 1980s. Mountain bikes (with the exception of early klunkers) came with aluminum rims.
Each bicycle owned exponentially increases the probability that none is working correctly.

There were "good" steel rims in the 80`s. Araya made them...
Wanted: Ritchey built Frame/Fork 85 or earlier.
