Okay, my bike was neither "vintage" nor "retro" nor "classic" but I'm hoping someone on this forum remembers it or could find a link to a photo of it. Now, 30-odd years later, I'm getting into biking and was reminiscing about my first "real" bicycle.
It was during the mid-late 1970s, called the "SANDBLASTER" ... and we got it at maybe Western Auto or Sears or even a hardware store ... the thing that made it somewhat unique was the front fork had coil springs on them ... I remember the front being very heavy as a result.
I googled to no avail. It looks like Fuji made a Sandblaster years later, but it's not the same thing.
Can anyone help me reclaim a part of my past?
