    Santa Fe Bikes???

Where can I find the history on these? Are they collectable? It appears to be early 90s.....and has a Made in Taiwan sticker on the head tube.

I live in Santa Fe (NM) but have no idea what the history is on this bike. I know a number of people in town have built frames but it might be worth posting in the New Mexico forum. Might have been designed here and built overseas. There are a fair number of vintage mountain bike fans in Santa Fe who still ride old bikes so someone local might know. Looks like a blue collar classic. What are the welds like ?

I saw the one in the second picture at a swap meet this weekend, all I can recall is the welds looked super clean, and that it had a lug at the top of the seat tube, which was angled and had a curve in it on the top edge. The seat tube also had a Cro-Moly decal on it. It appeared to be build well.

It looks a lot like a Gary Fisher.....

Never heard of them. Looks low end and by the lack of replies/interest, not popular either.

Just curious, because in person they don't look low end to me....but I guess it's all relative to what you are comparing it to, Thanks.......
