    Retro Business Card?

Not sure where to put this, but it's a pretty good story and it has retro content.

Last Sunday I was riding my Transition Klunker through San Rafael, and I saw a garage sale. Prominently displayed were several lava lamps. I stopped with my friend to have a laugh at the sixties fossils, and saw the guy had a bunch of bike stuff, including NOS Campy Nuvo Record.

That was a little more interesting, so I was inspecting it when the seller noticed me. He addressed me by name, which isn't that unusual around here, even though I didn't know who he was.

He told me we had met a few years ago when I chased him down on my Ritchey P-21 him to admire his P-22.

I remembered the event, but apparently we had met even before that.

The guy pulls out his wallet. It wasn't thick with fifty business cards, there were four or five. He selects one and shows it to me. IT IS MY PERSONAL "MOUNTAIN BIKES" BUSINESS CARD FROM 1979.

So I signed it for him.

As my friend used to say when a unique event took place, "What are the odds?"

    Nice, CK!

I don't have such a cool back story to go with this picture, but here's old business card that I had stored in a drawer (maybe I should put it in my wallet, just in case).

Each bicycle owned exponentially increases the probability that none is working correctly.

    That's a cool story CK.

What's even cooler is how the tire dimensions on your card make it look darn close to a Fatbike of today!
This is a Pugs not some carbon wannabee pretzel wagon!!
