    Reminiscing

I found this old picture of me and a old friend and as I feeling old today on my 47th Bday I thought I'd post it for fun.

This was in either '83 or '84. I am on a Fat Chance Kicker with Cook Bros hubs, Araya RM20 rims, fat chance bullmoose bars, XT parts etc... My friend was riding a cheapy Trailmate bike at the time. I was a lot thinner back then, damn.

    Good stuff.

Its easy to get new photos of old bikes, but it's really nice to have vintage photos of (at the time) new bikes.

Hopefully you're still riding...and bonus points for still having the bike!

    Happy B'Day!

Still riding, but not enough. I have some nice older bikes (Mantis, Ibis, Monolith) but not that Fat Chance. Sold it long ago to upgrade to the Mantis I believe (fuzzy memory). I did buy a Wicked Fat Chance along the way that I ended up leaning agaisnt a truck after a ride and the driver backed up and over it without seeing it! That hurt.

Most of the old riding pictures I have are in shoe boxes and need to be scanned one of these years. Here some pics that I have posted on MTBR a while back.
