    The pic of the crash is a really good. That looks painful!!
    Each bicycle owned exponentially increases the probability that none is working correctly.

    were the amplifiers any good? I think they're pretty neat looking.
    All vintage all the time. Nothing like a nice chromo frame with some properly adjusted cantilevers.

    My how time flies, and we get old.....sure always wanted one of those Lawwill forks, those things looked so damn neat back in the day. I got IRD's suspension fork instead.
    Good friction shifting is getting hard to find nowadays....

    I subscribed form day one.

    But as the mag became more "big-hucking-fro-riders-man-made-stunts-gigantic-redbull-big-air" they lost me. I have respect for the talent of those riders, but after a while, this old xc racer-singletrack guy just couldn't relate.

    And I still have that Vista headlight/tail light combo!

    I had a Litespeed Obed FS that used an AMP rear end.
    The good part=lightweight.
    Bad part=a little flexy,had to stay seated while climbing and compared to todays FS not that much travel.
