Out on the JT Sig again

Absolutely beautiful day - 71 degrees, light breeze, leaves just beginning to change color.

Managed to not get lost for once - I guess its time to venture off my now "usual" loop but for today I stuck with the red and teal trails in Lewis Morris.

Just a few pics with the iPhone which I must grudging now admit takes reasonable photos and has the most important feature - I always have it on my person.

Oh and yes Mik_git, the Raleigh John Tomac Signature is still the greatest bike ever made

    Damn you!!!

It's seems to be endless rain here, all the trails are closed (funny thing is way back when we used to ride all the trails around here no matter what the weather, but now we have "trails" aka groomed trails for the 29er crowd you can't ride them if if the humidity has been over 50% in the last week :/). So haven't been out on the xizang even though i've been hankering for it... so just had the roadie attached to the flash new trainer thing...

Yeah, ridin in the rain separated the serious folk from the wannabes. Plus no matter who had the lightest, greatest super bike at the start everything evened out after 10 minutes in the mud. Not allowed into the house until both bike AND person were hosed off.

    Great stuff

When you get lost in New Jersey, do you end up in a different state?

    Beautiful pics there CCM.
Seek: Koski Trailmaster. Breezer Series 2, or 3. Fillet brazed Ibis Custom. Cunningham Racer. Otis Guy (but not that softride model). That's all I need I don't need anything else... except... except for an old Mountain Goat bar stem combo. And that's all I need. I don't need anything else. Except.....

Let's start planning now and keep it to those who are A) out of shape and B) don't mind riding with those of us who are

    Not much.
According to my GPS, the total elevation gain is 475 feet.

There are several 1/2 mile - 3/4 mile sections with 5-9% grades and a few shorter, steeper sections but no real sustained miles-long climbing.

The steepest sections are loose rocks on hard pack soil so finesse it or hoof it.

The two most painful falls I've recently had were while I was going UPhill on those damn rocks.
