I am trying to put together my xmas list, and would like, as the title of this post suggests, a long-sleeved wool jersey without any logos. I like cycling wear that looks like normal clothes. So I thought this would be the best place to ask. Anyone got any ideas?

Try www.mec.ca they have merino long sleeve shirts that would work for riding. However they have no pockets as they are base layers for other gear.
Also try looking for ice breaker merino products. I assume they are probably made in the same factory or is the factory that makes the MEC stuff as they are in NZ. Once again, not cycling specific, but migth work.
A NZ company that makes a range of great mountain bike clothing, check out the link http://www.groundeffect.co.nz/products.php?category=WIN (the baked alaska sounds right up you alley. I use the frostyboy for winter riding in Montana, it works a treat!!!
Unfortunately we're a bit delayed with our project. Due to marriage, moving into a new apparatement and getting a kid, WoolRider is delayed about a year. But the website is still up. And we're working on the products. Hopefully we'll launch at Interbike '06.
Indeed. It is not often that I am interested in expensive clothing. My mom paid over $150 for this Bergamo jersey/jacket that I'm wearing here, and it's not as nice as the Ibex woolie.
I just picked up a zip neck merino wool top from REI on sale for US$44. The sale ends today, sorry. But full price they are not bad.
Also check out Smartwool.
