    Nishiki Fs2

On a recent trip to the LBS I was taken back by a weird green full suspension frame sitting outside on the sidewalk. A perfect winter project was the first thing to come to mind. Turns out it's a 1993 NISHIKI FS2 that was put away new a long time ago. Get this I paid 10 bucks for it ! I have a bunch of new and used parts to build it back up but I am having problems with the front derailuer. What can I use ? It looks like it would use a bottom pull and the the cable starts from the top and loops around a pulley on the seat tube above the bottom bracket. Any ideas ?

Post up some pics, sounds like a great score.

Are you saying that it is missing the pulley, or that your FD is top pull?

Thats a cool ad and a neat frame for sure. I had one of the first run Nishiki aliens and always loved riding that bike. The FS2 is basically a Cunningham designed Nishiki take-off of the classic Mantis Pro-Floater right? Always thought these would be a neat bike to own and ride.

$10! Damn, I would have snatched that so fast. I love early FS bikes. Get a photo up if you can.

I like these, probably influenced by the fact that there was one tested in the first ever MBA that I bought. I think this is the same colour as yours?
