    Night at the brew pub

So, went for a beer at the brew pub, and who should I meet:

It was awesome to meet Charlie Kelly and always good to catch up with Jacquie. She and I had just finished a quick ride past lake Bon Tempe and were hungry for beer and burgers. Charlie Kelly stopped by to say hello and to talk bikes. I wiffed on taking pictures of his townie, but it is enough to say it is the nicest Annapurna I have ever seen.

Halaburt rolled over to enjoy a few pints and to say hello. Later, Joe Breeze and family said hello as well - they were just walking by. Awesome!

Oh, and our rides make for the obligatory Marin blue collar pic!

Nice. Did you ride the suspended or non-suspended Ham?

Mine is the one with the cheezy chrome fork. The one with the suspension is Jacquie's Columboham - made from light weight Columbus aluminum tubes. Hard to see, but it has really beefy chainstays. Unfortunately a while back Jacquie had it parked and the local tweeker put a huge dent in the top tube with a rock.

Leave it to BP to have a Cunningham waiting for him in every city. Right on.

A real bummer about the top tube dent. Possibly she can get ahold of the manufacturer and work some sort of a deal to get it fixed.

Somehow I don't visualize mecca as having tweakers........
Seek: Koski Trailmaster. Breezer Series 2, or 3. Fillet brazed Ibis Custom. Cunningham Racer. Otis Guy (but not that softride model). That's all I need I don't need anything else... except... except for an old Mountain Goat bar stem combo. And that's all I need. I don't need anything else. Except.....

Funny, that bar crosses the line from Bullmoose, to BMX quite seamlessly.

Biggest version I've seen to date, not that that's saying much.....

Wish I had excuse to go ride in Marin for "work", good on ya BP....

ah, that is a nice bike. The faux lug work is really something to see. Definitely the nicest I've seen on an Annapurna.

@Rumpfy. I totally kicked ass on the first 10 minutes of the ride.

My photo is one of four members of my class ('63) displayed on the wall of the Tam High gym. The irony is that I was the wimpiest kid in any of my gym classes, and even when I was a senior there were freshmen who could give me the business.

The rest of my life is overcompensation for that.

It was called "mead theater" - not a class as much as how one survived class

PS nice bikes, stories and stuff - I love this place.
    ...strictly downhill...
