    Muddy Fox Seeker

Picked this up a few weeks ago locally for a song. Seems to be complete all the way down to the tires which have the Muddy Fox name on them. Just about every part is branded as such so it leads me to believe that they're not worth much. Not too much out there for this company except for the Retro Bike site and there is a brochure scan with this paint scheme in it. Any love here for these? My wife said if I were to ride it I'd have to wear pink panties to match.

Too many bikes, and just enough time to ride them.

Only place I've seen these bikes is in British MTB magazines. I'd guess they're standard, out-of-the-catalog Taiwanese bikes. Nothing special and probably a decent value.

HA! Way back in the '80s I used to work at Durham Bike in NH, built & sold a lot of Muddy Foxes.

I think that I was the first Muddy Fox dealer on the west coast (1987?). They were mainly sold in Britain.

I was living in Germany 90-92 and I remember seeing quite a few of them over there.

I think they made a weak attempt at selling some mediocre bmx bikes in the US in 87 or 88.
