I tried one of those at the local bike shop this summer. I suppose this was the case for old, actual klunkers too (ie.: Schwinn conversions), but it felt pretty small. It would probably work for someone up to about 5'-11", but not me. Nice looking and pretty inexpensive but, if I was going to try to make a one-size-fits-all work, I'd much rather go for @rev106's USA-made Genuine Article. Kona had a good thing going with their similar steel Humuhumu-nukunuku-Apua'a, which came in multiple sizes, but they changed for some reason.

When the Transition boyz were in town just before the Sea Otter, I accompanied them to Repack, the original downhill course. I thought I knew a little about riding single-speed coaster brake bikes, but these guys were Red Bull Challenge professionals, and they astonished me with the amount of air they were putting under these bikes. They astonished themselves when they kept blowing tires on the landings, since they were more accustomed to FS bikes.

Here is a photo I took that day, and except for the presence of helmets, it could be from 1978.
