Thanks for sharin those Pete and Huelse!! Cool stuff.

I dont see one person I recognize except for Rumpfy in the middle on the Extreme Performance crew shot. To this day he still loves those coveralls. I think he gave up the two packs a day though.

I wore it out and could never find another that fit quite the same.

My hair is still long like that...but it's pretty damn thin on the top.

Oh yeah, how could I miss Weinsy. Wonder if hes got his long socks on and the Gunnison (Gunnison Tune Up was it?) bike shop stickers on the Rock SHox.

Dave has been selling stuff on ebay like a madman lately.

Almost looks like Tom Rogers next to him but dont think it is.

i want that GP rad 1...

never have seen one for sale since I saw one sitting @ cambria many many many years ago (should have bought it, and the whiskeytown FS they had at the same time for about $300 each). I am looking in the background of all the shots to see if I am in any of the pics, does not seem that many years ago, but in MTB terms it is the great grand daddy days......

Did you ride Kennedy in Los Gatos back in 1989/95? or Grant Ranch at the Sizzler mountain bike classic in 1989 or the races after? Those would be the areas that I rode in at that time.I also went to Mammoth in 1991 but I didn't race. Or maybe I saw you in Los Gatos a few weeks ago.
BTW, you also kinda remind me of that Red Hot Chili Pepper guy.
Now that I have an idea what you look like, I'll make sure to say hello out on the trail.
    Those photos bring back memories.

Yes and yes. Never been down to Mammoth (a crime I know). I'm in LG all the time...but you should be able to pick out the bike I'm on before recogonizing me.

Which Chili Pepper guy...I'm not sure if I like that.

    I look like this:
That Anthony guy from the RHCPs.Kidding.Nah,you don't look like him now.I hope I looked at the right photo. I can't believe how quickly time and miles have passed. I was riding my MB-1 and Stumpjumper Team in '91 in LG everyday because we had an airbrush/silkscreening shop in Campbell and I'd go ride after work in Kennedy for a lot of hours,up until midnight. The weekends I did Grant Ranch. I met a lot of really cool mtb peeps on the LG trails.
Hope to see you on the trail. Keep an eye out for an ex-police bike with Python Golds bud.
BTW,keep up the good work on this site. It's been a cool experience.

ahh 1991 the year I graduated college

Went to WVU. Alot of good riding at coopers rock with my mongoose sycamore with eliptical chainrings and no helmets. Dam that was a long time ago!! Mountain Biking was really beginning to catch some steam in those years.
