    Lets see some Oddball parts!

I recently saw a vintage European short film that highlighted some oddball pre-war bikes and it got me thinking that there must be some cool/odd/weird Mountain Bike parts you all know about.

The Phil Wood Disc Brake is one that comes to mind (see attachment) and I know of a few others as well but let's see what you folks know about.

As I started this thread and with the moderators permission I would like to use the full scope of the forums title Vintage/Retro/Classic so we can also see some prototypes from the recent Hand Made trend that is going on.
