Two bottle mounts on the down tube? What's it say on the face of the seat tube? Something about Ritchey tubing?

It just says Ritchey. Not the original decals. It does have a Ritchey-esque look, but it`s been pointed out that the pump peg and rounded ends on the chain stays don`t look correct. The components were dated to 89...

Okay, I just found a photo of a Force Comp with a similar pump peg, but it differs in other details....

Canted dropouts say Ritchey. Never have seen another builder that did the drops like that... Of course, it'd be one of his overseas made frames... Serial number?

Would you find a weld like on the end of the TT there on a Ritchey?

Hmmm... after reading TC's comments, I think that he might be correct. I went back looking through pics and the Ascent Comp does seem to have the same details. You can even see the pump peg in this pic (of another bike).

So contrary what I told you earlier, it's probably an '88 Ascent Comp.
