    Early Fillet Fisher Id

I recently bought this frame from a fellow on the west coast. It was listed as a MT Tam. I'm pretty sure it's a Mt Tam but what has me confused is the seat stay cluster, looks very Tom Ritchey like ? Or am I just wishful guessing ) ? Any thoughts and have any of you seen one like this before ?

    serial number?

Gary hired other frame builders to make bikes once he and Tom split. It looks very much like a Ritchey, but 99% sure this is not made by Tom because the rear dropouts are not canted.

Unless it was made by Tom Teesdale in which case the serial number will start with TT.

Pretty sure that's a Teesdale serial number. I have heard Ed Litton made some for Gary too, but not sure.

Great bike! I miss my Tam. The Teesdale Tams I've seen had TET stamped in the shell. FB is right on about the serial number style being the same though. Seat cluster is different than other Teesdale ones I've seen.

It's hard to tell from the pics, but the rack mounts also do not appear to be what Ritchey used either. Ritchey rack mounts of that era look like two large washers brazed to the seat stays.

It's a nice looking Fisher. And if it is a Teesdale, he's a good builder too.
Each bicycle owned exponentially increases the probability that none is working correctly.

Big washer are what they look like and are very different from what my other Teesdale (TET) marked Mt Tam has. Well who ever made it they built a very nice frame, and it makes for an interesting thread huh
