I have one of those in purple/plumb...all orig in mint condition..except for the scratches it acquired being thrown around the garage...so unfortunately, I cant (wont) ride it (it still has minty GT tires that I dont want to use), but I would like to get me a beater one to try out. I have several other GT frame/bikess from this era that should be rideable soon. I really want to know how that radically sloping downtube bike feels/works. I also have several GT bmx bikes form the early eighties and I matched one of them frames up to this frame., other than the wheelbase, they are sooo similar. Is the bike in the pic yours?

The bike isn't mine but I'm tempted to go after it. The only thing that has me worried is the size. It looks like the seat is low and at riding level the seat would be super high with a relatively low front end.
