Do you like the old Kinesis aluminum forks?

I was looking into replacement 700c forks and was wondering if anyone here has had good luck with the older Kinesis aluminum forks. A little internet poking surprised me with words like smooth and compliant. Thoughts? Thanks.

I would never use the words smooth and compliant to describe my wife's Kinesis MTB fork. However, light and durable apply. Of course, 700cc could be different.

I had one on an old Cannondale M300. It was a good option at the time.

I've got 6 K forks currently on my regular riders(2- 700c,4- 26' canti). Nice American Aluminum looking welds(brazes?), solid forks, I'd recommend e'm w/o hesitation.
Only seen 1 ever break, was with a buddy on a mt bike ride up north, one of the arms w the canti post broke at the headset race area. Seemed like a clean break, so he rode it the 4-5 miles home, albeit slowly(and disconnected his front brake cable).
