    Diamond not rough

Came across this fillet brazed beauty in Berkeley over the weekend. Nice Bontrager comp fork that could use a bit of shining/buffing IMO. I can't recall if I've ever seen one of these, from the slack'ish head and seat tube I'd say late 80's? Anyone know of the bike and/or builder? In any case thought a couple pics would brighten these bizarre times, and Monday to boot. Cheers Diamond not rough-d1.jpgDiamond not rough-d.jpg
hmmm appears MTBR has altered the pic insert?

Damn, would be worth the bike just for that fork. Unfortunate you acquired 2 gems...

In the Bay Area, that bike is a long ways from it's origin.

Thanks for the information, from that link Greg Diamond passed away in 1990, looks like he mainly made road bikes. So this bike is likely mid-late 80's and likely quite rare, she's not mine, just an pleasant sighting in Berkeley, though it is my size.....no no, currently I'm in saving mode for a different type of build (one I can live in). Best to you all
