    Crankset Advice

What crank would be period correct on SunTour Mountech equipped bike? I like the Sugino AT but they're just getting too expensive. Did Sakae have anything that wouldn't look out of place on something from 83 - 84 era?

    Tourney
Seek: Koski Trailmaster. Breezer Series 2, or 3. Fillet brazed Ibis Custom. Cunningham Racer. Otis Guy (but not that softride model). That's all I need I don't need anything else... except... except for an old Mountain Goat bar stem combo. And that's all I need. I don't need anything else. Except.....

If you like the AT's I'd suggest you just set yourself a limit and wait for one to show up on ebay. They don't always go for huge sums.

They're the sort of component that turns up in a lot of places, and a lot of people don't assign a lot of value to them. Just be patient.
    Don't call it a gooseneck.

I have a nice TA but that's for another project. Never thought about a Super Maxy. Cook Bros are nice but a bit more expensive than I was looking for.
