    CC tumbles

Got an email from Jacquie Phelan informing me that she had cut her visit to Vermont short, racing home to tend to her injured husband, Charlie Cunningham.

Jacquie's report is that Charlie fainted (!) while riding, and the result was five broken ribs, broken clavicle, and fractured pelvic bone.

She says Charlie is up and walking, but using a crutch and not moving very quickly.

    Send good thoughts.

Ouch!! Hope he heals quickly, and I hope the fainting was not a sign of some other issue.
Each bicycle owned exponentially increases the probability that none is working correctly.

Oh dear. Like Laffeaux said, I hope Charlie just needs to eat more.

Thanks for letting us know CK.

    Holy F.

I broke one rib and it hurt like hell moving around. CC is one tough dude to be moving around at all with all that going on!

Gutted to hear the news, but thanks for sharing it with us CK! Healing vibes to Fairfax and Mr. Cunningham.

Apparently he went out on a morning ride without eating breakfast, and also drank too much water.

Man, I can't remember my name if I don't have breakfast.

CC's way more hardcore than me, he actually made it out into the woods on a bike without eating.....

    Bubble?

I want one of those big human in the middle ones I've been seeing lately, looks like a lot of drunk fun at parties if you had a few of them. Well, not too drunk, then they'd just be a mess, ew.

Neither of those will contribute to a normal, healthy person "passing out".
You might feel like crap, have no steam or bonk from that but if he really passed out - especially if it happened without warning signs - it would be a big mistake to make that leap.

Exactly. Full exams (neuro..) are necessary but i am pretty sure someone at the hospital already told him that.
