I say go with the red, if you break the it while riding, that way the blood won't show so much.
    Looking for:
    • Bontrager Comp crown, 1" threaded
    • Syncros Revolution, drive side 172.5

y'ouch, I'm getting no love for the NOS Carambas. I'll be sure to avoid any 5ft+ drops with these...but I figure if I do break them, I have 1 backup drive side arm. If that breaks, I just acquired an old FS Jamis Dakar Team with a set of rasta Kookas on it, so that'll be my backup to my backup.

I'd say red too. I see a theme to the breakage picture, one rider, many brokem cranks of the same ilk, when does one learn?

FWIW, I had a friend that logged many many miles on them, no issues.
This is a Pugs not some carbon wannabee pretzel wagon!!

I have about 20 Caramba crank arms that I got from them when they move from San francisco.

All broken in one way or another (BB area, middle of the crank arm, pedal end) do to poor design, lack of forging, heat treatment and horrible manufacture standards.

Wow, that's disturbing! I know a lot of CNC stuff broke, generally due to the reasons you state. Why did you keep going back for more abuse though? Please know, I'm not picking on you at all, not my style
