Avid SD 2.0 levers: for cant's or V-brakes?

I just picked up some Avid Speed Dial 2.0 levers for my wife new commuter bike. I'm planning to mate them to caliper brakes, but I was surprised to see it had the adjustability of the (presumably newer) SD Ti's I'm familiar with.

Are the Speed Dial 2.0 levers canti-compatible or v-brake compatible? Or does the dial allow you to work with either?

You should be able to change the pull ratio with them so they're suitable for both. Should be adjusted as close to the bar as possible for canti's. They're really good levers. With the exception of the ultimates, there isn't a ton of difference in these, the mags, the ti's, and the SL's.

    Thanks!

My recollection was that there was a 2.0L for “linear pull” brakes?

Correct, the L was for long pull.

You can use the leverage adjustment to compensate, and they will "work" but you won't really have any adjustment per se, to tweak it and make it feel how you like, it'll just be pegged to one end or the other, depending on brakes used, and feel just okay instead of perfectly dialed.

Well, I’m trying to use them with caliper and drum brakes (Nexus hub), which I believe are the same cable pull has cantilevers. So I should be fine.
