    Answer Manitou4 (1993) shocks question

Just purchased a refresh kit from suspensionforkparts.net and while taking apart the fork, I noticed that I'm missing one of the compression rod screws that screws into the bottom of the fork. probably lost years ago....I was wondering if anyone might know of a replacement screw, preferably one that I could pick up at a hardware store? I was going to take the one remaining screw with me to the store, but would feel better if anyone knew the exact type of screw? visual inspection isn't perfect until you get home and try it to see if it fits.

    thanks in advance

    Hey,
This temp fix worked for me in until I located my missing bolt under my work bench. V-Brake pad hardware & bottle bolt.

thanks, I was able to match the screw with a machine screw from Sears in the hardware department. But good to know for future losses....
