    ah, come on. they're none the worse for it. i mean, what's a few more scratches and dings after 15+ years of honest wear and tear? if the taper's not wallowed, if the threads aren't borked, if the pawls still click, i figure we're good to go.

    Agreed, nothing says, I like you enough to give you this stuff, but not enough that I'd waste another 30 seconds with some junk mail as packing, as a pack job like that does. Did they load it in with a shovel??

    I know those country folk out there are pretty nice. How 'bout sending those fancy lookin' SS7s down to me here in White Rock? I could use them on my daily commute to Delta, maybe have them see the Olympic Peninsula on the weekends as well.

    Heck, I'd even head out to Vernon to get them myself!
    Good friction shifting is getting hard to find nowadays....
