Cool stuff. I have a set of the Revolver cranks awaiting a project and I run a set of orange lever Tamers on one of my Konas.

I'd love to see the Tamers made again. They are completely pointless, a solution looking for a problem, but they bring back memories of those days when you could personalise your bike by doing more than just spending $300 on a rear derailleur with "custom coloured" graphics.

Agree completely Grumps...I feel the same way about the Hot Tips, something about those little neon pieces of plastic just makes me smile.

    Yeah that's awesome.
I'm always on the lookout for an original one of those catalogues.

I'm sure when Doc gets his mitts on it the catalog will be posted in all it's glory.

Guessing there's not much chance of it not ending up in his hands with all the Johnny T shots in there.

Farmer John and all his relatives were pretty much done by 1991. It was all about the Hound Dawg, Mud Dawg and I think one other that I can't recall at the moment for 1991.

Was that about the time the original Psycho was released or were they a bit later?

I recall getting a set in about 1995 but I'm sure they were around a couple of years before that. I remember the chunderous flouro ad with a San Andreas and the catch phrase "50mph through a corner? That's Psycho!"

Wonder Dawg and Trail Dawg according to BikePro. Think there was a Greyhound 700c tire too.

I loved the Farmer John Cousin. Of course I didn't use it as a directional front tyre like they said. I reversed the direction and put it in the rear. Worked great for the trails I was riding at the time.

Oh, man. That photo of Tinker on page 15 is so sweet. All style. Still with the clips, straps and cleats in 1991 is so dumb it's awesome.
