1989 Mountain Goat Deluxe, fillet brazed oval tube

We definitely have a love for the old Goats, especially the fillet brazed oval-tubed Deluxe models. The lines are really nice on these as the tubes flow into each other. I doubt this one saw much use, even the brake track on the rims is just barely scuffed. Edges of the pedals are barely worn as well. This one is definitely sporting "period correct" paint with all the pretty colors.

I always like seeing Mountain Goat threads in the VRC forums, but that may have changed after seeing that paint job.

I like it and think it looks cool.....
But then I am comfortable with my masculinity also..

Heck I would even wear UGGs...

    Probably not with shorts though..
Seek: Koski Trailmaster. Breezer Series 2, or 3. Fillet brazed Ibis Custom. Cunningham Racer. Otis Guy (but not that softride model). That's all I need I don't need anything else... except... except for an old Mountain Goat bar stem combo. And that's all I need. I don't need anything else. Except.....

Had a couple opportunities to buy that WTR and just couldn't do it because of the paint.........but when it is a Deluxe, and a pristine one, couldn't resist. It would be kinda cool to have the "set" now

This one uses a matte black which actually looks better in person and it does definitely fit the era.

I thought the WTR was in a bin on a piece of property close by?
