    1986 Fisher Montare

    Deer head shifters/derailleurs, Suntour lever/ rollercam, pedals. Nice rider! Anybody know who built these?

    Probably a decent chance it was the Toyo factory, but just a guess.

    That's a great bike. I remember really liking those as a young tyke.

    The '86 catalog on Retrobike says they were made in Japan.

    I liked my '88 - geometry and fit felt good on that one. It definitely had a "Made in Japan" decal, so Toyo makes sense.
