    1985 Fat Chance Kicker

Today I finally finished my 1985 Fat Chance Kicker. It used to be red, now it has the original team colors. Mainly NOS parts from Shimano, Suntour, Mafac, Specialized, Tioga, American Classic and Avocet. Hope you like it!

Wow. Amazing photography. You gotta post up more. (I guess I could go to your flickr page but I'm super lazy!) I prefer the new colors compared to the red. Great restoration.

    Today is a Fat day!

Now that's a classic! Do you plan on trail riding it or keeping it as a museum peice?

Tha paint was done by a local bike shop. It is a simple powder coat with a final clear coat that protects the decals. The decals are from Gil at http://www.thecycleshed.co.uk/ He is the best in all sorts of decals. I definitely intend to ride it. Not as hard as my main bike(s), but it's an excellent cruiser.

Here are some more for you lazy people:

Here I used the R8/DMR. It might be a bit old, but I really love it.

I don't get excited about repaints but this looks incredible! I like the collar- you don't see that to often. Thanks for sharing. I feel classic Fats are some of the best riding bikes out of the early 80's.

I've been using a 60mm macro nikkor as normal lens since 1991.
