1" Threadless Stem with a cable hanger?

Does anyone know of a threadless stem that came with either a noodle or a stop and roller for cantis?

I'm not sure there were any - unless they were custom made. Part of the idea with threadless is that they could be flipped upside down and used for drop or rise as needed. Every threadless stem that I'm seen either used a cable stop that mounted to the fork steerer (like a spacer), or had a cable stop on the fork (as with suspension forks).

The fork is a BOI. I thought about running a hanger as a spacer but was told they have a tendency to spin around. Other option would be to driil the hanger and tap it for a set screw

You need to find one designed for a threadless fork. They should have an allen key to help it clamp down and stay put.

If you have issues with the hanger rotating you can get a hanger that clamps to the steerer. These work well.

    what he said ^^

Or, if you're not averse to using a shim, Dirt Research made them in 1 1/8.
Ebay seller mrbikeman was selling them a few years ago. Looks like he doesn't have much stuff left, but may be worth a try.

Saw a Kelly threadless stem with a cable stop brazed on it some 6 months ago on the bay. Kinda looked like the stop that came on the old Ritchey/Nitto stems.

Salsa made customs well into the 90's so I can imagine at least a few were made.

The question was posed for a buddy of mine. I told him about the Salsa. Not sure who he called but he texted me back to say they were a custom order untill 1997.
On another note. I just went to look at some parts someone was looking to sell. In the box was a new in package Syncros 1" threadless cable hanger. Wierd huh?

I have one with noodle on my slingshot, figured it was also maybe made by slingshot? (I'd be interested to know for sure), I have the double ended thread less adapter inside as the fork is threaded.

not sure why it's blurry, but when I click on it it enlarges and clears.

Is this how images appear in the new software? When I click on the pixelated mess above there's a nice picture hidden underneath.
