    WiFi BacPac lag?

Finally got the wifi BacPac for my gp2.

Loving the ease of control and especially the ability to vary camera settings quickly through the phone app.

But in the picture preview, I'm finding that there's a lag of about 5-6 seconds (which is huge IMO) between the camera and the phone preview.

Has anyone else experienced this and is there any way of improving it?

I've got that with my Her0 3 and had the same with my Hero 2 and wifi bacpac.
There's nothing you can do about it, we've just got to hope that Gopro update the software to reduce the delay.

Seems pretty low-tech. And a major fail.

Is the contour that bad? Or is Bluetooth a better technology for this?

Well the processor has to have time to see the image, compute it, and display it. It all comes down to processor speed. Is there an underlying reason why 5 seconds is so pressing?

(tapping his watch) Time is money...

No, it's just that when making fine adjustments to the camera angle, you don't know whether you've got it right or not while you're doing it. Just makes the process more cumbersome than I was hoping it would be.

Interesting, because the Wi-Fi from my Hero3 to my Ipod or Android is pretty instant. It would seem the bacpac would be instant.
