    Virb like data on GoPro?

I saw a video posted today that seems to be taken from a Garmin camera. I would love to be able to have my Garmin data displayed on my GoPro videos. Is there a way to do that, that I may not be aware of?

dashware (dashware.net)--you can import your video, and import a GPS track, align them, and embed the data.

The dashware is pretty cool. The clips on there are continuous. Do you have any experience with it? I'm wondering if you can edit your video but still get it lined up properly. There is plenty of climbing, stopping to bs, kind of stuff I don't necessarily want in the video.

Suggestion--take video, add GPS, process, export then take up into your favorite editor. Yes, means double processing, but it does work.

Garmin Virb Edit seems pretty good now. Its free. You dont need their camera to use it. I use a Gopro and a Garmin 500.

It is slightly buggy but it can be worked thru it. Biggest drawback is video has to be less than 5 gigs. I had a 20 min video that was 3.5 gigs. When i ran it thru Virb Edit it ballooned to 5+ gigs and the export failed.
