Good job! Pure Energy: Cable-Cam on the fly!!!

Some of my best "Uni-Cable-Cam" clips from the past 8 months. 100% solo set up and filming, and it all fits in my back pack, including the entire rig and 150 feet of line! The original 1:30 sec vocal intro has been removed, so it's all cable cam, all the time!

    Check it out:

I used to ride to Win ... Now I ride to Grin

While my guitar gently weeps, my bike sits there mocking me

Nice stuff Uni. I've been kicking around building a rig like this. Would love to run into you (again) in the SM's when you are shooting. I'd like to watch and learn.

Thanks yeah the first place I ever filmed with my UCC (uni-cable-cam) was Sullivan Canyon...*before* the bulldozing. I'm thinking of going back to Noble Canyon (San Diego area) and spending the whole day doing UCC stuff.

Basically, the rig is pretty easy to make. Then it's just up to you as to how much time and effort you want to put into it. The set up can be just basic--tree to tree and let her rip. Or you can get more creative and vary the camera angle, speed, how it zips through trees and other plant life. You can have the line cut across or start way up over head. It's really unlimited as to what yu can do with it, which is why I love it.

haha yeah I saw that. I am old though but hey, that's just means I've got to do this stuff while I still can! (Of course, even though I'm old, I refuse to grow up, lol!)
