No, I do not have an unlimited hobby/sports budget I have to prioritize
I have seen it in use on snow/ice, with downhill skis, but there was not enough wind on that day. The pics and vids on the Kitewing site look pretty cool. You might need a pretty smooth site if you wanted to catch the kind of air, with rollerblades or mountainboards, that they are doing on skis and snowboards.
edit: and of course Kitewing says, somewhere in their documentation, that their wings are not for jumping... Liability ... if you crash when you jump, you cannot put the blame on them.
