    MacBook Air with external HD via USB3 or thunderbolt

    Has anyone tried editing movies with an Air and and external HD? Does it edit smoothly and transfer data fine to the external drive? The internal HDD is solid state and way too small to hold more than a few videos.

    It would work just fine.
    I'm afraid of heights so a 26'r fits me to a T.
