Help me pick a good lipstick cam or video cam

I'd like to get footage on bike that shows bars, fork, front wheel but also the trail out ahead and to both sides with enough for viewer to get a feel of speed , steepness of trail, jumps, etc.

What would be a good choice for onboard cam and mounting system and mounting locations, or better to just get a good regular video cam and take footage with a buddy?

GoPro HD Hero! Tons of mounting options and mounts. 170 deg field of view in 720p mode 127 in 1080p mode.

I got one and it's a beauty. Not as small as a lipstick camera but it's small enough that it shouldn't get in your way.
I don't use Strava. Don't need an application to tell me I am slow because I already know.
