Gopro Hero 2 -> 960p quality is better than 1080p

    How come?
Picture quality, colors, details everything is way better on 960p.
    Is this normal?

    Thanks

Does it also increase FPS? I have the Veho Muvi NPNG, which is basically exactly te same as one of the gopros. I can't tell the difference between 1080p and 720p if the video is fast, but I can tell te difference between te 30 FPS and 60FPS.

Are you testing with still shots? Moving gives 1080p the jello effect.

I believe the native sensor size for the Hero2 is 1280x960p. So capturing 960p involves no scaling whereas capturing 1080p does. This would effect sharpness and possibly color.
