    Contour coming back to life?

Looks like one of the investors has purchased Contour and plans to resurrect the brand!

Investor plans to revive Contour after winning bid to buy GoPro rival for $1.9M - GeekWire

And on his LinkedIn page, it shows a possible December 1st return with, of course, The Phoenix!

Too bad we lost all our videos on Contour's site before the buyout. I liked Contour's site better than YouTube. No stupid dislike button (a troll's best friend!), and no hateful comments like on YouTube. YT is a bastion of stupidity!

Just either disallow comments or make them approval only and then delete the ugly stupid ones.

I have comments disabled on most videos, but I have a few that still have comments enabled because people had questions about the bike I was riding, or the area I was riding in. I delete the dumbass ones as soon as they're posted. I tried approval-only commenting years ago and I didn't always get notified of new comments.

Now that Contour is coming back, hopefully they will release another camera with user-replaceable batteries. I don't like being restricted to 3 hours of recording due to non-removable batteries like in the Roam.

Awesome news. I am also very happy with my ~2 year old Roam (bought a Roam 2 recently as well!).
