    anyone tried these Polaroids yet?..?

seems polaroid has a few action cams out.. nothing special but for basic "youtube" video's looks like they might be 1/2 decent.. anyone got and vids from a bike? Seen some from a post before on a snow mobile but that's not the same bouncing around we get riding...

the one for like 69 bucks looks like it comes with kinda a strap you can use as a chesty mount like the gopro.. wondering how well that will stay put.. Cam is MUCH smaller and lighter looking sooooo,,,?

    couple bullit/contour style ones too.

Polaroid Sports Action Cameras allow you to shoot HD video no matter where you are or what you are doing. These durable cameras include mounting kits so you can catch all the action hands-free. Polaroid Sports Action Cameras

I saw them and played with them at the Consumer Electonics Show in Vegas this year.... I was not impressed with the video quality they were showing...

I used an XS10 as my helmet cam for snowmobiling last winter. I found it on sale for $50 at Christmas and said what the hell I'll try it. I modified the waterproof case to accept GoPro mounts. It records 720 @ 30 fps and the battery last approx 2.5 hrs (1.5 hrs when -25 C).

I am happy with it. I like the small size. Here is some sample footage:

Here it is mounted to my helmet:
