So after a nice little break, I'm getting back into the swing of things trying to get ready for some races coming up in May-June time. Been doing a lot of good trainer work which seems to be paying off. But one area I'm nervous for is bike handling? This has been a weakness for me and I really want to improve on it. Is there any way to do this that doesn't involve waiting until the trails open up in spring? Going to a skate park, etc?
Snow bike. They are a blast to ride and it really works your body depending on conditions. Hell of a lot more fun than sitting on a trainer for an hour.
I don't know about you but it's not really my bike handling that concerns me but my bike handling as i approach that exhaustive, tired state. So I've been working on some upper body muscular endurance to help out with that. Dead lifts, push-ups, pull ups, etc.
