    Rescue at KT info??

Did a quick search and didn't find any news. Does anyone have an update or any news at all about the rider who was rescued from Tap n Die last week at the Kingdom Trails. My son and I were there right before it happened and would like to know if the rider is ok!?

Vermont Public Radio reported the rider had non-critical injuries.

    Thank you!

As far as we knew, and it was only rumor, was that he crashed into a tree and broke his back.

Canadian Bicyclist Hurt On Kingdom Trails
    Friday, 07/15/11 6:06am
    EAST BURKE, Vt. (AP)
A bicyclist from Canada was taken from a Vermont mountain biking trail after he crashed into a tree and was found by another rider.
The 47-year-old Quebec man, whose name wasn't immediately released, was biking at Kingdom Trails in East Burke when he apparently went over the handlebars and hit a tree. He was conscious afterward but had numbness and tingling in his extremities.
He was treated at the scene and later taken to Northeastern Regional Hospital in St. Johnsbury.
The Caledonian Record says members of the Sheffield-Wheelock Remote Rescue Unit, East Burke Fire Department, Lyndon Rescue and Kingdom Trails officials responded.

For some reason, that trail eats people alive. I've seen a rider down on that trail more often than not while I was riding through.
I am immune to your disdain.

    Tap and Die

That is my favorite trail of all the Kingdom trails!! They made a new trail that parallels tap and die called troll stroll. It is flowy and nice but there are no roots.

    Is this the one?

I'm not certain this is on Tap-n-Die, so forgive me if this is from a different trail (only been there once and was busy chasing guides who were faster than me).
I can barely get my mouth around it.
