PSA - Bee's Nest on PBR Trail (Fort Rock)

A large branch that has fallen onto the trail between the second-to-last and last wood bridges on the PBR trail. Must've happened recently with the rain storm. Started to clear it out, and saw 20-30 bees by the break in the branch. Be advised! They were not happy!

At least it's not as big as that massive one last year on that trail from the power lines to the gas line hanging off that tree. Thanks for the heads up.
Get out and ride even when you don't want to because ten minutes into the ride you'll be glad you did.

Yes, that one was huge. And full of white-face hornets! They are aggressive.

I'll try and pull the branches off the trail tomorrow if I go out. And if the bees have calmed down.

If you do it when the temperature is low the bees will be much less active.
I can barely get my mouth around it.

    Someone cleared the trail.

The nest is actually ground bees (located on the left side on the trail).
