MTBVT.com visit East Hereford // Festival this weekend!

Just a few minutes north of the NH border is the small town of East Hereford. I've bugged people about this place for years. Now, the MTBvt folks were given the tour. Here's what they had to say:

East Hereford – the best mountain biking in New England…in Quebec

The Festival (FestivAllez-Y) is this weekend.

    Camping: 5$
    Beer from Siboire: 4$/pint

With Saturday's ride, evening dinner is included.

Would have loved to come esp. for the shuttle rides. A little too late to plan now. Very much a gem up there, I was up there right before "Chase" season last fall and toured it on my own. It's only an hour from Kingdom. Anyone looking for a change of pace should go.

I know... i was only to put the MTBVT link... but realized it's the festival NOW!

Maybe some ppl will see it and make the move north... instead of riding with the crowds on the beat up trails at KT!

Just too late notice...tapping into the lands to the north continues to elude me. Hope to get up there with you as I've said before eric.

    Interesting....

..Thanks for the post....heading to KT 8/25-8/28....might convince the group to take a trip over to check it out.....Is it possible to ride without guides there? i.e. do good maps exist that we can buy ? Ride On!
There are two paths you can go by but in the long run........

Even better then printing the map: Order it online!

When you get in town, you park behind the church. There is a trail kiosque with an "honor box" to pay for trail fees (5$ a day - 20$ for the season)

I guided the Epic ride on saturday. Lots of climbing out there... 6h ride... 20mi! But the ride down is amazing!

Enjoy it out there, trails are awsome!
