    Moving to Pittsfield/Newport Maine area

Hi everyone! I'mmoving from beautiful western Maine, where I know tons of great trails, tothe Newport/Pittsfield area. I have no idea where to ride! Anyone have ideas? Driving around I have seen people on mountain bikes, so I know the trails must exist!

    Thanks!!

There is a small group of us that rides in Pittsfield during our lunch hour. There is a little local ski bump here known as the Pinnacle that we have developed some trails on. It is a very small area, but the hill provides some challenge when climbing it and some short but fast rides back down. Feel free to join us sometime, or if you prefer, just ride the area. The trails are well worn this tme of year, so you can easily find your way around.

Check out the Central Maine NEMBA chapter. They have some trails in the waterville area that are pretty fun. You are pretty close to the Bangor area and there is a bunch of singletrack in that area as well. Check in w/ the boys @ Ski Rack Sports in Bangor for the info on that area.
