Mid/Southern VT for a couple days

    Yo all,

In a couple weekends I have to be in VT for a family wedding. So I will have about half a day before the wedding around Killington area, and then a full day after that to explore and ride as much singletrack as I can get my grubby little paws on. Is it worth driving that far north to Kingdom Trails for only one full day? Or is Killington decent enough to be work biking on?

    Thanks!

Their is tons of great riding that is allot closer than the Nkingdom Trails. Pine Hill Park in Rutland or Green Mountain Trails in Pittsfield are you best bet for the 1/2 day. For the full day there is STAB (mt. Ascutney), Millstone Hill, Perry Hill/Waterbury, Stowe, the Mad River Valley (Sugarbush area), Killington lift served, and much much more

Awesome! I'll have to start doing some digging around and hunting. Thanks for the tips, very helpful to have names to start the search with.

if you decide on Killington for lift serviced (a sick place to ride, huge variety of terrain, when i go there i don't ever want to leave) let me know....i'll come up (i'm about an hour south of Killington) and ride with you for the day.
Consequences dictate our course of action and it doesn't matter what's right. It's only wrong if you get caught.

I'd run the half-day at Pine Hill Park in Rutland. (www.pinehillpark.org). The next-day, rock Killington lift-access and If you've still got the juice in the legs, rip Pittsford until you can't walk.

Don't think you should miss any of the three to be honest.
