    Louis Garneau Outlet, Newport, Vermont

I'd like to hear your opinions on the products and selection in this store. I've never set foot in there and a visit to Newport would mean a special trip. They advertise "up to" 70% off...

Is there lots of product in the store? Are there factory seconds?

In general, if you've been there, what do you think?

This is a must do whenever we go to KT even though it is 45 mins away. Selection varies widely but almost always walk out with a great deal. KT office has 20% off coupons. Gloves = $6, helmet = $10, road shoes $10, jersey $7, snowshoes = $35.

The gf picked up a pair of shoes which are still about $70 when on sale online for $10, I've gotten jerseys for $10 that I feel are well worth it, and made in Newport. A lot of mediocre deals though. I wouldn't say it's worth a special trip.

Can't speak for this particular store but there used to be one in Conway NH also that didn't last too long. I bought a pair of shorts that I thought the quality was only average. Prices were good but not great. Prefer the sale rack at the Pearl Izumi outlet across the street.

This one is attached to the factory so hopefully it won't be going away any time soon .

The N Conway store was not an outlet. It was a factory owned store.
