    Killington

As many of you know Vermont was hammered by Irene and has sustained a lot of damage, Houses lost, people lost and tons of damage. Killington also got hit real bad and lost part of K1 lodge and more. Well they closed for the year for repair. And they took good care of their season pass holders. I got a email stating that they had to close for the year and they were sorry and gave all season pass holders 35% off next years pass. I did not expect anything, The storm was out of their control and all that matters is they were ok and there is always next year. A great place to ride and a great place to their customers.

So Irene shut down the Killington DH scene for the rest of the season, leading us to reach out to our neighbors and share our gravity. Just show your 2011 Killington Bike Pass at the Sugarbush Adventure Gear Shop and you'll get a free day ticket. This offer is good starting this weekend and continues through October 10th. Sugarbush is open weekends only at this point, except for Columbus Day, October 10th.

Killington riders, your season is not over!

We may go to Highland on Sunday, are you still playing golf ? or can you tag along? I would not mind trying Jimminy Peak either. Give me a call some time.
